The months of August and September will be marked by the exhibition “RaggioloEstate2021” which, among the ancient stones of the Casentino village and the green of nature, will develop through a particularly varied calendar of events including theater and musical performances, evenings for children, excursions through the woods of Raggiolo and guided tours to discover the country.
The first evening will be held Sunday, August 1st with a conference by A. Mazzucchelli on “Images and Symbols of the Middle Ages” at the Chapel of the Sepulchre at 18.00. It continues on Thursday, August 5 with the novels for children by Miriam Bardini in the evocative context of the ancient ruins of the church of Sant’Angelo nel bosco at 18.00.
Saturday, August 7 will be held the final of the Literary Contest RidiCasentino 2021 with the winner and award ceremony of the contest “Racconta Raggiolo”, at 21.15. Sunday 8 from 17.00 with “History live: blacksmiths and swordsmen”, will propose the reconstruction of a medieval market where you can experience workshops and manual activities.
Monday, August 9 at 21.00 A book for the summer “A good man” by V. Giarritiello. Tuesday, August 10, at 21.15, will be staged “Dante has never been here (maybe)” with the appearance of the Supreme Poet seven hundred years after his death.
Thursday 12 at 20.00 dinner in the square, Friday 13 at 21.00 night walk to the church of Sant’Angelo where will be staged scary stories for “big and small brave spectators”.
Monday 16 will be held the Assembly of Members at 17.30. Tuesday 17 at 21.00 the show “Napoleon is back”, promoted together with the association Noidellescarpediverse, will imagine the arrival of the Corsican Napoleon Bonaparte in Raggiolo, which in the past was a Corsican colony to plan the reconstruction of the empire.
Wednesday 18 at 17.00 an excursion to the village of Raggiolo and Thursday 19 an evening of street art that will see ten young musicians of ArezzoCheSpacca play acoustic in different corners of the village from 21.15. Tuesday, August 24 with the second edition of “Stories of the fox Catherine” with novellas traveling through the alleys of Raggiolo. Finally, Wednesday, August 25 at 21.15 an evening Jazz with Ivan Elefante Trio.
Sunday, September 12 with the workshop of poetry reading aloud “Every tree is a poem” and at 21.00 on Saturday, September 18 with the comedy show of children and adolescents entitled “Giovanissimi comici alla ribalta”. This itinerary will end on Saturday September 25th with the seventeenth edition of “I colloqui di Raggiolo” for an occasion of training, deepening and comparison dedicated to the Casentino art and on Sunday September 26th with the experience “Orienteering between Raggiolo and Quota” along the Cammino di Dante.
